Rip It Diving, located in Gardnerville, is owned by an international professional coach and high diver with over 15 years of experience in the USA, Malaysia, and China. The dive club specializes in pre-teen, teen, and adult coaching with students from 8 years old and over. Rip It Diving offers a safe, fun, & easy progression through small group classes for more personalized learning.
Meet The Head Coach
Edward Kollar
Head Coach & Owner
Eddie is an international professional high diver and coach. He specializes in springboard and high diving and coaches other acrobatic disciplines, such as tumbling and trampoline.
Eddie has coached, competed, and performed in the industry for over 15 years. He started his diving journey at Douglas High School in Gardnerville at 15 and then trained with Jian Li You, an Olympic dive coach at UNR, at 16. He was also an All-American Diver when he was 17. At 18, Eddie was the first diver to hold the State Title for American River College in Sacramento and held California's 1 and 3 meters record for a few years.
At 19, he started performing worldwide as a professional springboard and high diver for different entertainment and circus companies. His hard work allowed him to perform in the USA, Malaysia, and China. One of his most memorable highlights was the opportunity to work for Dolly Parton, celebrity country singer.
Since 2023, Eddie has been Douglas High School's main dive coach.
Today, he is the proud owner and head coach of Rip It Diving and is looking forward to growing his dive club.
